1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected, used, disclosed, and otherwise processed in connection with ipUSD (the “Protocol”) and its associated website, application, and interfaces (collectively, the “Services”).

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the entity responsible for operating the relevant Services, where applicable.

ipUSD is a blockchain-based product designed to facilitate access to strategies involving tokenized real-world assets (“RWAs”), including assets associated with intellectual property and royalty-related economic rights.

We respect your privacy and seek to limit the collection and processing of personal information to what is reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services.

This Privacy Policy explains our data processing practices and the rights that may be available to you under applicable data protection laws.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with the Services, we may collect or process the following categories of information.

2.1 Wallet and Blockchain Information

When you connect a blockchain wallet or interact with the Protocol, we may process information such as:

  • Public blockchain wallet addresses;
  • Blockchain network identifiers;
  • Transaction hashes and transaction history;
  • Token balances and related asset information;
  • Subscription, withdrawal, claim, and settlement activity;
  • Smart contract interactions;
  • Referral codes or referral-related activity, where applicable.

This information may be publicly accessible through the relevant blockchain networks.

We do not require access to your private keys or wallet recovery phrases to provide standard wallet-connected functionality.

2.2 Technical and Usage Information

When you access the Services, certain technical information may be collected automatically, including:

  • IP addresses;
  • Browser type and version;
  • Device type and operating system;
  • Referring URLs;
  • Access times and usage patterns;
  • Application performance and error information;
  • Network and connection information.

Such information may be collected through server logs, analytics tools, or similar technologies, to the extent these are implemented.

2.3 Information You Voluntarily Provide

We may process information that you voluntarily provide when interacting with optional features, submitting inquiries, reporting issues, or communicating with us through available channels.

We do not require users to provide their legal names or other directly identifying information solely to connect a compatible wallet, unless additional identification requirements apply to a particular feature or service.

2.4 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information from infrastructure providers, blockchain analytics services, security providers, or other third-party services used in connection with the Services.

Where applicable, these sources may provide transaction-related information, security signals, or other data necessary for operational and compliance purposes.

3. How We Use Information

We may use collected information for the following purposes.

3.1 Providing and Operating the Services

  • Enabling wallet connectivity;
  • Displaying blockchain balances and transaction activity;
  • Facilitating access to subscription and withdrawal functions;
  • Displaying transaction status, settlement progress, and claim availability;
  • Supporting referral functionality;
  • Maintaining the functionality and reliability of the Services.

3.2 Security and Fraud Prevention

  • Detecting suspicious or potentially unauthorized activity;
  • Protecting the Services against abuse, attacks, and technical vulnerabilities;
  • Investigating security incidents;
  • Maintaining the integrity of the Protocol and its interfaces.

3.3 Service Improvement

  • Monitoring application performance;
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues;
  • Understanding general usage patterns;
  • Improving the design, usability, and reliability of the Services.

3.4 Legal and Regulatory Compliance

Where applicable, we may process information to:

  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations;
  • Respond to valid legal requests;
  • Enforce applicable contractual terms;
  • Protect legal rights and interests;
  • Meet relevant recordkeeping or compliance obligations.

5. Public Blockchain Data

Blockchain networks are generally decentralized, transparent, and designed to maintain persistent transaction records.

When you interact with the Protocol:

  • Your public wallet address may be visible on-chain.
  • Your transactions and smart contract interactions may be publicly accessible.
  • Transaction records may be independently stored by multiple network participants.
  • Blockchain information may be analyzed, indexed, or displayed by third-party services.

Although a wallet address does not necessarily identify an individual by itself, it may become associated with other information capable of identifying a person.

Due to the immutable nature of many blockchain networks, we may be unable to modify or delete information recorded on-chain.

Requests to erase personal information therefore may not extend to records maintained independently by decentralized blockchain networks.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Services may use cookies, browser storage, or similar technologies for purposes such as:

  • Remembering interface preferences;
  • Maintaining wallet connection preferences;
  • Supporting basic application functionality;
  • Measuring application performance;
  • Detecting errors and improving service reliability.

Where analytics or optional tracking technologies are used, applicable consent requirements will be respected.

You may manage certain cookies through your browser settings. Restricting essential storage mechanisms may affect the functionality of the Services.

7. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

We may share or otherwise disclose information in the following circumstances.

7.1 Service Providers

We may engage third-party service providers to support:

  • Website hosting and infrastructure;
  • Blockchain connectivity and transaction indexing;
  • Application analytics;
  • Security monitoring;
  • Technical support and maintenance.

These providers may process information as necessary to perform their services, subject to applicable contractual and legal obligations.

7.2 Blockchain Networks

Information submitted to public blockchain networks is processed and maintained by independent network participants.

Such information may be accessible to anyone using blockchain explorers or other indexing tools.

7.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, lawful government requests, court orders, or other valid legal processes.

7.4 Protection of Rights and Security

We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to investigate misconduct, protect the security of the Services, enforce applicable terms, or safeguard the rights and interests of users and other parties.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including maintaining the Services, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and satisfying applicable legal requirements.

Retention periods may vary according to the category of information and the purpose for which it is processed.

Technical logs and analytics information may be deleted, aggregated, or anonymized when no longer needed.

Information recorded on public blockchain networks may remain permanently accessible, independently of our retention practices.

10. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information processed through the Services against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

However, no method of electronic storage, internet transmission, or blockchain interaction can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for safeguarding your wallet, private keys, recovery phrases, devices, and other credentials.

We will never require you to disclose a wallet recovery phrase or private key to access standard Protocol functionality.

11. International Data Transfers

Depending on the infrastructure and service providers used, information may be processed or stored in jurisdictions other than your country of residence.

Where required by applicable data protection laws, appropriate safeguards will be implemented for international transfers of personal information.

These safeguards may include contractual protections or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:

  • Request access to personal information held about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate information;
  • Request deletion of certain personal information;
  • Restrict or object to certain processing activities;
  • Request portability of eligible information;
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • Lodge a complaint with an appropriate data protection authority.

These rights may be subject to applicable legal exceptions and technical limitations.

In particular, rights relating to modification or deletion may not be enforceable against immutable records independently maintained on public blockchains.

Privacy-related requests will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and any legally required procedures.

We may require reasonable verification before responding to certain requests.

13. Children's Privacy

The Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18 or the minimum legal age required to use the Services in their jurisdiction, whichever is higher.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals who are not legally eligible to use the Services.

If we become aware that personal information has been collected from an ineligible minor, we will take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our Services, technology, operational practices, or applicable legal requirements.

When changes are made, the revised Privacy Policy will be published through the official website or application, with an updated effective date.

Where required by law, additional notice or consent will be provided.

Your continued use of the Services after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective will be subject to applicable law and the revised policy.
